Director of Infection Control (RN)
A health services network in Westchester County is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team as their new Director of Infection Control.
In this role, the Director of Infection Control (RN) will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of the Infection Control Program which encompasses all campuses and entities of the facility.
The Director of Infection Control (RN) will be responsible Surveillance and reporting of nosocomial infections Investigation of infection or clusters of infections as warranted Microbiological monitoring of the healthcare environment and remediation Targeted education, consultation, research, administration and continued professional development Heightening awareness of nosocomial infection, how to minimize infection among patients, and how to minimize occupational risks of infection are presented to employees Perform other duties, as needed Bachelors Degree NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license APIC certification Desired Masters Degree in a Healthcare-related field Recommended Skills Administration Certified Nurse Practitioner Consulting Education Professional Development Infection Control Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
