Position Description The Service Technician II is responsible for promptly responding to all service requests, apartment turnover preparation and the preservation and maintenance of the property.
This role will have a strong degree of building trades skills and work independently to handle a variety of apartment interior, exterior and the site grounds.
You will be vital to the successful maintenance of the property, through excellent customer service focus and a positive and productive relationship with other team members.
Who will I be working with? You will be working with a dedicated site team that typically includes a Community Manager, Service Manager (your supervisor in most cases), and Resident Occupancy Specialist along with other Service Techs.
The size of the team will vary based on the size and complexity of the property.
What are my core responsibilities? Key responsibilities include diagnosing and performing repairs for appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting and basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC, completing or monitoring preventative maintenance tasks for building systems, equipment and components, and responding to and completing all service requests and on-call emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
Skills and experience you will need Knowledge of hand and power tools, cleaning supplies and PPE.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and problem solving skills.
Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult residents and/or situations.
Trade school degree or three years of progressive responsibility in property management or hospitality.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
