Clinical Nutrition Manager - RD

We are seeking a new Clinical Nutrition Manager to join our team. Your role will be to provide inpatient medical nutrition therapy for a community hospital population focusing on care for the elderly utilizing the nutrition care process and electronic medical records. You will additionally be accountable for the leadership and coordination of a staff of dietitians serving the hospital and an attached skilled nursing facility. As a member of the Nutrition and Culinary Services department, you will work with various management and staff professionals and report to our Director of Nutrition and Culinary Services. What You Will Do:
Establishes goals and oversees implementation of clinical nutrition care based upon the facility's medical direction and patient/ resident population Assesses the nutritional status of patients/residents through documentation in the medical record Hires, leads, directs, coaches, trains, and develops nutrition team members. Trains and mentor's patient/resident services staff and interns as applicable Complies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient/resident rights policies. Participates in/ Leads patient /resident satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs Recommended Skills Confidentiality Leadership Medical Direction Medical Records Nursing Home Care Performance Improvement Apply to this job. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
