PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for daily operations of the restaurant.
You will also set the stage for guestexperience with your welcoming smile and service.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
oReview daily schedules and manage time off and vacation requests; coach and train on policies, procedures, andperformanceoSupervise cashiers to ensure correct policies and procedures for check handling and closing are maintained by service staffas well as manage activities; means of access and egress, to ensure complete compliance with Health Department and FireMarshall RegulationsoDirectly communicate with the Chef on all food service and menu issuesoAssist in seasonal menu changes and holiday menuchangesoOrder supplies through the IP System and PurchasingoExercise cost controls for all aspects of restaurant operationoManage pricing and maintenance issues to ensure checks can be processed correctlyoDirectcommunication with guests for special requests and large party reservationsoPerform other job-related duties as requested MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
oHighschool diploma or equivalentoTwo (2) years of service experience in a similar dining environmentoWork varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays PREFERRED:
oDegree in a related field or equivalent work experienceoThree (3) years of experience in a high volume food and beverage environmentoExperience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining AgreementoExperience working in a similar resort setting CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
oKnowledge of all menu items, including mixing and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods,glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipmentoKnowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulationsoKnowledgeable of kitchen operationsoAble to lead and mentor a teamoExcellent customer service skills andinterpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts WORKING CONDITIONS:
